Warning has been issued by area Mp Victor Munyaka. Speaking in his office in the town on March 30, the Mp said that there has been complains from parents of their juvenile daughters dropping out of school and running away from their homes.

"This is a big shame to the society if mature person can blackmail underage to drop out of school to employ them. It's not even employment as they are paid Sh100 according to information, I have received from some parents," said Munyaka.

Munyaka cited that heavy law will be taken on anyone found having employed underage in the town.

He also urged parents to be role models to their children especially young girls and always talk to them and encourage them on how to be good responsible citizens.
