Former Sofapaka coach Sam Timbe will be returning to the Kenya Premier League for the 2018 season after being appointed by Tusker FC as head coach.
Timbe will be taking the position left by his predecessor George Nsimbe who was shown the doors towards the end of last season.
Timbe is remembered for steering Sofapaka to GOtv Shield title in 2014 before he quit the club in August 2015 following expiry of his contract with the side.
He then coached Uganda's Police FC before resigning to the close of the 2016 season after a spate of unsatisfactory results from the team.
At Tusker, he has signed a two-year contract.
