Taita Taveta governor Granton Samboja has asked Wiper leader Klaonzo Musyoka to quit NASA if he wants to be on the ballot in 2022.

Samboja claims that Kalonzo presidential dream might not come true if he does not change his political strategy.

Speaking at the county offices when he launched the county development report on Tuesday, Samboja said that Kalonzo’s failure to attend Raila Odinga’s last week inauguration as the people’s president sealed his political fate.

“Kalonzo Musyoka should rethink on his strategy and weigh whether his presence in NASA still remains relevant,” he said.

The Wiper governor also defended Kalonzo absence at Raila’s inauguration as the people’s president at Uhuru Park last week.

He said that the former Vice President explanation to why he missed enough, adding that NASA supporters and politicians should stop bullying him.

He said that Klaonzo has the qualities of a president but  he must be wise in choosing  his political vehicle ahead of 2022.

Kalonzo has been receiving criticism from NASA politicians and supporters after he snubbed last week inauguration.

The Wiper leader  has continued to defend his absence maintaining that he is in Raila Odinga’s alliance to stay and ready to take oath as Raila’s deputy.

Political analysts have been arguing that Kalonzo’s absence at Raila’s fete last week was a big blow to his 2022 presidential bid.

The former Vice President  is expected to fly the   NASA ticket in 2022 as per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) they signed with Raila in 2017.
