Seven British tourists were attacked and robbed inside the Samburu National Reserve on Friday evening.

The tourists were on a game drive with a Kenya driver when the theft took place.

The attackers stole money in Kenya shillings, cameras, passports among other belongings.

Interestingly, the robbers left bundles of dollars untouched.

"They left behind dollars. I think they didn't know the value or thought they were just pieces of paper,"  Samburu East OCPD Samuel Muthamia said.

Muthamia said police are investiagting the incident.
