Benson Gatu has finally come out to shed more light on what happened between him and Senator Mike Sonko’s daughter Saumu.
In an exclusive interview with Heads Up, Gatu, who is Saumu’s baby daddy, said that he never abused her as she claimed.
When asked whether she parted ways with the Senators daughter or they are still seeing each behind the cameras, Gatu opted to deviate from the question for reasons best known to himself.
The flamboyant businessman cum politician instead said: “I did not abuse Saumu,” as quoted by SDE.
The story about the breakup of the two has been hitting headlines in the recent past with various people giving a different side of the story including her dad Sonko.
When contacted over the matter, Saumu refused to comment saying; “I don’t want to discuss my private life in public.”
A few weeks ago, Sonko claimed that Gatu had thrown Saumu out of his house, adding that he opted to accept her back because he loves her so much. Saumu had alleged that she walked out of the relationship because Gatu keeps on cheating on her with daughters of prominent persons within the Kenyan government.
She also said that she was too you to go through heartache and pain, adding that Gatu wanted to use her and other girls, whom she did not mention for his selfish gain.
“Just to clear the air, I was never married in the first place. I’m just a woman who realised my worth before it was too late. Yes, we broke up. I’m just too young to go through the bullshit of a man moving from one politician’s daughter to another for his selfish benefits,” she said during a past interview.
