Kenyan boy band Sauti Sol on Saturday night won the Best Group Award at this year's MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs).

Sauti Sol beat Micasa(South Africa), Navy Kenzo(Tanzania), R2bees (Ghana) and Tofan(Togo) to walk away with the award.

Sauti sol were nominated in the category for Unconditionally Bae  hit song which features Tanzania’s Ali Kiba.

The show was hosted by Trevor Noah in Johannesburg.
