[Photo/madam.co.ke]Lugari Member of Parliament Ayub Savula has called on President Uhuru Kenyatta and the National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential candidate Raila Odinga to dialogue in order to solve the current political stalemate over the election in the country.Speaking to the Star by phone on Monday, Savula accused both Raila's and Uhuru's foot soldiers of hindering meaningful talks between the two candidates due to issues to do with the 2022 general election."Uhuru is the President so he should lead the way by calling Raila for a meeting to agree on the way forward and ensure the repeat election is held as planned by the IEBC," said Savula as quoted by the daily. The ANC legislator also warned of a political crisis under the current circumstances. "Kenyans want to put this matter behind them and move on, he said.According to the Lugari lawmaker, Kenya is bigger than both Uhuru and Raila and there the two shouls swallow their pride and dialogue instead of holding Kenyans at ransom for their personal interests.
