According to Onderi, the allegations are mere propaganda and the county government has no plans to grab the school’s land.

Onderi however called upon complainants to present their grievances to the relevant authorities.

“I have not received any complainant on the land grabbing. Allegations mounted on the county government trying to grab school’s land are baseless. I therefore call upon anybody with issues to come to our office and report the matter instead of relying on propaganda,” he said.

The school’s management through its chairman Robert Nyangweso complained that the county government wants to demolish the school structure with the agenda of expanding a market.

“The government whether National or County is the custodian of any public land, therefore no one should think the government can steal from itself,” added Onderi.

Nyangweso urged the national government to intervene in the matter.

“We are disappointed by our county government for trying to grab a piece of land belonging to school. If they want the land, they have to consult the school management first,” said Nyangweso.

He urged the National Government to intervene in the matter and protect the school property.

“We have tried several times to get title deeds from the ministry of land but we are yet to get it,” said Nyangweso.
