Mitaboni ABC girls high school in Mitaboni ward, Kathiani sub-county has today benefited from Sh2.5m cheque to drill a borehole in the school.
The cheque was handed over to the school principal by Kathiani Mp Robert Mbui on March 21, 2016.Speaking during the event, Mbui said that the borehole drilling will kick off on Thursday, March 24, 2016 taking three one-month mandate for completion.
"It is my duty to ensure that all schools within my constituency get enough water either piped or from a borehole. Only a few schools remaining to completely end water crisis in all schools," said Mbui.
He said that the Sh2.5m cheque is from CDF. Mbui also had an opportunity to motivate students urging them to extra work hard in their studies.
He also lauded them for being the most disciplined school in the sub-county which has never recorded cases of students strikes.
The school principal thanked him for his continued efforts in serving Kathiani residents and more so bringing in development in the education sector which have never been there.
