Sigoti Girls Complex Secondary school in Nyakach, Kisumu County has been closed indefinitely after a fire razed down a dormitory in the school on Saturday night.However, no one was injured during the incident.Sigoti Location chief Michael Sati who confirmed the incident disclosed that residents in the area intervened and helped put out the fire.Kisumu County Director of Education Mr Sabina Aroni, who visited the school on Sunday, said the closure would allow for investigations to bring to light the cause of the fire.He further revealed that the school board would communicate to the parents when the institution is set to be reopened.The school was closed for two weeks in September last year after a fire razed down two dormitories in what authorities at the time termed as an arson attack.Is there a newsworthy accident, incident or event happening in Kisumu County that you want Hivisasa to cover?
