The school’s Head-teacher Charles Kimani said strong winds had caused the damage posing a danger to the learners.

“The wall collapsed as a result of strong wind. The wall had some crack which in my opinion led to its falling since it was weak,” said Kimani.

The Head-teacher also said that apart from the fall in the school’s perimeter wall, learners are having difficult time learning, especially when it rains, as some of their classrooms had leaking roofs.

He appealed to the county government and the area MP to assist in renovating the damaged structures to allow smooth learning in the institution.

The school’s PTA Chairman Joseph Karanja said that teachers at the school were now worried of insecurity since school’s property are now exposed.

“We are calling for interventions from our county government and other well-wishers to restore normalcy in the institution,” appealed Karanja.
