Mbee mixed secondary school teachers, parents and students had a reason to smile on April 4 after the area member of the National Assembly Robert Mbui bought them additional land and donated funds to construct teachers quarters.
The school is among swiftly growing schools in Kathiani sub-county. Speaking in the event, Mbui said that his aim is to ensure that the school provides quality education.
He said that the school is among the promising schools in the sub-county as far as education is concerned.
"If this school is transformed to provincial, travelling costs will reduce and everyone will be proud of that. Ensuring that the staff live within the school compound will result to great improvements in all sectors in the school," said Mbui.
He urged everyone to cooperate to move the school to the next level.
Mbui was accompanied by Mavoko legislator Patrick Makau, area subchief Peter Ndee and chief Kyeni.
