Parents whose children are studying at a school which charges what they describe as exorbitant fees have challenged the institution's management to come out clean on its fees.
Parents of Regina Pacis Elimu School managed by the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru say they can no longer take their children to the institution because of exorbitant fees.
The parents who spoke to the media on Wednesday said the school's management under the leadership of Sister Judith Wayua some of the fees levied on them should be scrapped off as they are unnecessarily high.
A parent who spoke to journalists said admission to the school irrespective of the children one has is Sh20,000 per child and the amount is nonnegotiable.
He also said parents are forced to pay Sh2,400 for swimming which the learners at the institution enjoy only ones in a term.
Besides, the parent who preferred to remain anonymous for purposing of avoiding being victimized said parents also pay Sh800 for teachers' motivation yet the teachers only receive Sh500 for the same.
But one parent, Sammy Mbugua on Wednesday said during a protest at the institution: "The school is good but one person Sister Wayua wants to mess it. We have written to the Bishop and the county government over our grievances but all has been in vain."
The school management has remained mum over the issue and has not made any response to date.
