Al Jijo dispensary and six schools in Ilng’wesi location in Laikipia North Sub County have been deserted following attacks by armed raiders that resulted in the death of a fifteen-year-old boy who was shot dead while herding and left scores with bullet wounds.Residents of Borana, Ole Naishu, Lol Daiga and chumvi villages have been forced to flee their homes following escalation of cases of insecurity in Laikipia.This comes a month after a pregnant mother and her two sons were shot and seriously injured before being airlifted to Nairobi for specialized treatment.
