All school in Kisii county will be connected with electricity as one way of fulfilling the Jubilee manifesto of improving the education sector.
This according to the Deputy President William Ruto, who said it during his visit to Kisii county he said that the Jubilee administration is devoted to making sure that its manifesto is fulfilled.
“The National government will make sure that all schools in this region are connected with electricity so we can improve our education sector,” said Ruto.
He added that they want the process of connecting the remaining schools to be done within two to three weeks.
“We need the whole process to be completed in the next two to three weeks so all students get an equal opportunity,” said Ruto.
The National government wants the initiative of connecting electricity to all school to be completed in time as they are in with the process of distributing free laptops to schools.
