“I will spare no effort in arresting those who will be found vandalizing public structures,” said Mwangi.

Speaking yesterday at Chief's Camps, Muguga Location, in Kabete sub-county. Mwangi said that the Provincial Administration would not allow criminals to vandalize public facilities for their personal gains.

“The Provincial Administration will not allow those vandalizing road structures to go free. We will act on them till their activities are halted,” said Mwangi.

The chief expressed concern over high rate of vandalism of road structures in the area.

“Many sign boards along Muguga -Kahuho road have been vandalized putting the lives of road users at risk,” said Mwangi.

Mwangi said that vandalism is the greatest challenges that would derail the gains recorded in road infrastructure.

The chief urged Muguga residents to protect the road structures and report those vandalizing them.

“The residents should join hands together and fight against vandalism,” said Mwangi.

The chief noted that many road accidents among boda boda operators are to be blamed on vandalism.

“The metallic sign boards along the roads have been vandalized denying boda bobda operators information of the roads,” said Mwangi.

He further warned scrap metal dealers who work with vandals that their days are numbered.
