Uasin Gishu county commissioner Abdi Hassan has said security forces in the county have mapped areas that are likely to be marred by violence in the upcoming general election.He said, county security team is alert, therefore there should be no cause of alarm.
"Although the entire county is a hot spot, much emphasis will applied in areas such as Munyaka, Turbo, Moisbridge, Langas, Huruma and Kesses," he said during a peace actor's meeting in Eldoret town,Wednesday.
"Those who will be found inciting or causing violence will face the law," he added.
Hassan appealed to politicians to conduct their campaigns peacefully and respect other aspirants.
