Security has been deployed to Lawyer PLO Lumumba’s rural home after workers alleged receiving death threats from unknown people.

The home in Usigu village, Bondo sub-county, received four police officers as confirmed by area OCPD Paul Kiarie.

Kiarie said police were investigating the matter.

According to the OCPD, there were reports that unidentified people had threatened to cause damage to the lawyer’s property following the utterances he made during the Supreme Court presidential petition hearing.

The area is dominated by NASA supporters who are said to have felt betrayed by Lumumba as he represented the IEBC against NASA leader Raila Odinga.
