Nakuru County Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has said that his government in conjuction with the State has beefed up security in Nakuru Town and the county at large.
Speaking in Nyota Ward, Kuresoi on Friday, the Governor said that they have held Security meetings with the necessary county and national security agencies to ensure residents are safe during and after the festive season.
“We held a meeting on Wednesday with the County Security team and they told us the security plans they have. I would want to assure all Nakuru County residents and the visitors who will come that their security is guaranteed.” said Mbugua.
The Governor also said that he was happy to know that all the 55 wards had achieved the developmental agenda for this year.
“I have visited and opened more than ten complete projects today. We promised our electorates that their money will be of value to them and we have been able to achieve and show that. People from various ethnic groups are also living in peace,” said the Governor.
