The controversial Security Bill continues to raise varied reactions with various clerics coming out to state their stand on the matter. Komothai P.C.E.A Presbytary Moderator Rev.
Bernard Kibande has said that those blaming the President for the run-away insecurity in the country do not understand the limited powers that the constitution gives him to deal with security.
"The constitution as it is now does not give the President powers that can allow him handle insecurity comprehensively", said Kibande.
He urged the critics of the proposed Security Bill to read the constitution well. "The Bill will supplement the constitution and help the President to deal with insecurity.
Let those opposing the bill look at its benefits that outweigh the harms", he added At the same time, Danson Munge a Community Leader in the area praised the nomination of Joseph Nkaissery saying he is the right man for the job.
