Kisumu county commissioner Pauline Dola and fellow counterparts from neighbouring counties Nandi and Kericho have been holding series of meetings in Muhuroni constituency, Kisumu county with the aim of ensuring no violence erupts ahead of Uhuru's inauguration.While addressing a press conference on Thursday, the three county commissioners said they will involve barazas and community elders to ensure peace prevails among the three neighbouring counties due to their political differences.They warned that stern actions shall be taken against those who will instigate violence against locals and their businesses.Kericho county commissioner Mukhtar Abdi cited that criminals will be dealt with accordingly and no chance will be left for anybody to instigate violence"We are going to deal with criminals decisively and firmly and they will not be given a chance to break the law," Mr Abdi warned according to allafrica.comThis follows after the Supreme Court of Kenya upheld President Uhuru Kenyatta's second victory last week. He will be sworn in on Tuesday November 28 at the Safaricom Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi.
