Security has been beefed in Machakos County ahead of Muslim's Ramadhan celebrations across the world which begin tomorrow.
Security personnel across the country including those from Machakos County have had meetings to strategize on how to ensure intensified security during this Holy month of Ramadhan.
Addressing the press at his office on Tuesday, Yatta OCPD Edward Changach revealed that necessary security measures had been put in place, especially around Mosques and other places of worship to be used by Muslim faithfuls throughout the month.
Changach said anybody found breaching peace during the Holy Month will be dealt with according to the law.
According to Saudi Supreme Court, the Holy month is officially meant to begin tomorrow while Taraweeh Salat (Evening prayers) begin today evening.
