[Photo: Caroline Mutoko]President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto hosted a Jubilee Party fundraising gala dinner, Friday night.The event held at Nairobi's Safari Park Hotel, saw renown persons in attendance, with aims to contribute from their pockets and support Kenyatta's re-election.Caroline Mutoko, Ndinda Mutoko and Julie Gichuru were among media personalities in attendance.During the Friends of Jubilee fundraising Gala Dinner, Mutoko and friends took a moment to engage Uhuru and Ruto and the room in a little time travel, with Julie making a touching peace and unity presentation.However, critics on Twitter questioned the amount of cash one could have to attend the dinner, with @disembe saying government officials such as principal secretaries, and head of parastatals were being forced to pay Sh500,000 per plate for the Jubilee Party campaign dinner.It was not clear how much one was to pay, for the dinner. It is also not clear how much money was raised.
