A Nyamira County based politician has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto to seek God’s innervation in the fight against corruption in this country.
Victor Swanya said corruption is at the peak in this country and only God’s intervention will help to end graft.
“It is high time Uhuru and Ruto should seek God’s intervention to fight corruption in their government because the current leaders have failed Kenyans and if no prayers will be held in this country, corruption will continue,” he said.
The Wiper party vice chairman said thieves targeting public funds will only be defeated by prayers to kick out the evil spirits from the thieves.
According to Swanya, Kenyans’ money is going into a waste and EACC, courts only will not help in recovering the lost funds.
“EACC and courts should not be left alone to fight corruption. Kenyans need to step up efforts and ensure anyone engaging in corruption in the society is reported to authorities so that the money being stolen can be used to funds various development projects in this country,” he added.
