Raila Odinga will share podium for the first time with President Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday, days after taking oath as People's President.
Separately, the government has launched massive crackdown on people believed to be behind Raila's swearing-in, with Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang falling under the hands of the police.
"We are still investigating the event and co-conspirators and facilitators will be dealt with the law of the land," said Fred Matiang'i.
And despite the animosity between the two leaders, the two shall meet at Yvonne's Wamalwa's funeral at Kitale.
Ex-Minister Muskari Kombo confirmed Uhuru's attendance when he gave first briefing on Yvonne's burial arrangement.
"We are expecting the President on Saturday so all plans are in place to ensure all goes well," he said.
A similar sentiment from ODM lawyer, who spoke in confidence, was shared saying that Kitale will be Raila's first destination since Tuesday's inauguration.
Being widow to Ex-Vice President Michael Wamalwa, Yvonne is expected to be given send off befitting that of a state officer.
