He has said that it is not a guarantee that Mount Kenya will vote deputy president William Ruto for president come 2022.

However, the nominated should not be demonised for his opinion on the course that may affect politics before 2022. The country is bracing for the 2017 general elections and much attention should be given to the general elections.

For 2022, a lot would have taken place in the political scene and it is only right to let nominated senator Paul Njoroge give his opinion on the elections.

Political history in the country also favours what nominated senator Paul Njoroge said. The Mount Kenya region has failed to back other presidential candidates not alienated to Mount Kenya. The likes of Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi have all failed to benefit from Mount Kenya votes even after being promised support from the area.

The current trend in politics has also seen Governors Peter Munya and William Kabogo come out and say what Senator Paul Njoroge has said. However for their cases, the two have not been strongly demonised as is being experienced with Senator Paul Njoroge.

Kenyans should learn to evaluate things before jumping to conclusion. Politics has never had permanent friends nor enemies.

Things can change before 2022 and new alliances formed. Kenyans should also learn that politics is a deceitful game that should not impel one to turn against his or her neighbour because of power hungry politicians who are only driven by their ego. Calm should be maintained and time given a chance to prove nominated senator Paul Njoroge either right or wrong.
