A Cord senator has called on both the government and the opposition to stop the blame game in the fight against corruption.
Speaking during an interview on Radio Maisha on Sunday evening, Homa Bay Senator Moses Kajwang' reiterated that the country had reached a point where corruption had to be dealt with by both the government and the opposition.
"It has reached a point where the opposition and the government should work together and help end this menace. The blame game between the government and the opposition is not helping us fight corruption," said Kajwang'.
The legislator further called on the government and the opposition to offer solutions to taming the vice.
According to Kajwang', corruption had tainted the country's image and there was a need to come up with remedies to the problem.
"The government and the opposition should come up with solutions to the corruption menace in the country to help end this unwanted vice," added Kajwang'.
