Vihiga Senator George Khaniri has challenged the NASA coalition principals to expedite the process of naming the flag bearer ahead of the August polls.
Speaking in Likoni on Sunday when Musalia Mudavadi toured the region, the Senator exuded confidence that the opposition coalition will unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta as the race to State House gains momentum.Khaniri claimed that that the country is on the brink of collapsing due to Jubilee's 'poor leadership. He faulted the government over failure to contain the effects of the ravaging drought that has left thousands of Kenyans in dire need of food aid.“If the current leadership is given another five years in power. They will auction the country due to too much-borrowing,” said Khaniri. The senator further asked residents in the region to shun leaders who are out to hoodwink them using colourful manifestos.Khaniri, who is one of Mudavadi's key allies, asked the coalition co-principals to endorse his party boss to take on President Kenyatta in the August polls, arguing he is the most suited to deliver victory for the alliance.
