Haji terms NASA claims as insensitive and malicious.

In an interview with the People Daily, the former Defence Cabinet Minister accused NASA leaders of politicizing government security measures.

The Garissa senator claimed that NASA leaders are not concerned with the country’s state of security and want to gain political mileage through politicking.

Haji alleged that NASA’s intension is to create tension in the country and instil fear among Kenyans through malicious propaganda.

 The former Defence Cabinet Minister said that the curfew imposed in Garissa, Tana Rover and Lamu is for security purposes and not political as NASA claims.

“Raila Odinga should stop pollicising security matters if he really cares about Kenyans safety,” he said as quoted by the People Daily.

The Garissa senator said that the opposition has no campaign agenda to engage Kenyans on and has resulted to criticizing government security efforts.

Haji said that the curfew imposed will remain in force whether Raila and his brigade likes it or not.

On Saturday during campaigns rallies in Lamu and Tana River, NASA leaders accused the national government of imposing curfews to curtail local’s movements ahead of the August 8 polls.
