Senator Haji  says that Ndii's  petition  to have the country split into two is malicious and meant to cause rifts among Kenyans.

According to Haji, Ndii is ill advised in his call for secession.

In an interview with a local daily, the Jubilee senator urged  Kenyans to ignore the calls and continue living  in unity.

"Ndii's petition to split the country should be condemned  because that is not the spirit of nationalism and patriotism for the country as established in the constitution," he said as quoted by the People Daily.

Haji said that Ndii's basis for secession does not add up adding that the economist should stop misleading the country.

Haji said tha the country has acheived  huge milestone interms of democrasy and national unity adding that it is dangerous for some people to start inciting Kenyans.

The senator also slammed Ndii over remarks that NASA will call for mass action in case the Supreme court upholds President Uhuru Kenyatta's win in a presidential petition filed by NASA leader Raila Odinga challenging Uhuru's re-election.

The senator asked Kenyans to be peaceful and shun politicians and individuals  who are bend on causing tention and anxiety in the country.
