Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has reiterated that the Jubilee party is ready to help the National Super Alliance (NASA) achieve reforms in IEBC before the October election.

However, Murkomen pointed out that Jubilee's help will only come in if NASA avails themselves in the Senate and National Assembly for a conclusive discussion on the way forward.

Murkomen made the remarks in response to Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo's request that Jubilee should be in the forefront championing for electoral reforms considering their win was nullified.

"We have not received a request from NASA in their course for IEBC reforms in the country. However, we can only help NASA by engaging them in fruitful discussions both in the Senate and National Assembly and not in street demonstrations," said Murkomen.

Murkomen also affirmed that Jubilee elected leaders will carry out amendments in the electoral laws to seal all loopholes that contributed to the annulment of the presidential election results.

"As Jubilee leaders, we must do amendments to the electoral laws to ensure future presidential election results are not annulled," added Murkomen.

He further said that Jubilee has no problem with NASA advocating for the removal of IEBC personnel from office but only if they follow the law and the constitution.
