Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i has been subjected to condemnation in what pundits term as 'bad attitude' to the judiciary.
Last week, Chief Justice David Maraga openly dismissed Matiang'i scathing attack on the judiciary, following lawyer Miguna Miguna debacles.
Nyamira senator Okong'o Mogeni has joined the debate, becoming one of many leaders from the region to openly differ with Matiang'i's 'treatment' of judicial officers.
"Court orders, whether right or wrong must be obeyed all the time. That is why we usually have appeal.
"The minister on spot should immediately apologise for demeaning the judiciary or quit if that is difficult," said the ODM senator, in an interview at NTV's AMLive.
When he appeared at the Parliamentary Select Committee on security, a fired up Matiang'i accused unnamed judges of working with civil society to distabilise the government.
During the heated meeting, Matiang'i said, the judiciary had been colonised by activist lawyers and the opposition.
