The 2,066 acreage farm which is owned by elderly persons has recently been hit by wrangles with the farm directors allegedly trying to foul play original owners.

Residents who have been residing in the land for decades are worried that should they be evicted, their fate remains in darkness.

The farm has been having a dispute with AFC over an unsettled loan

The residents who claim that government officers are part of the cartel intending to grab the land are now calling on President Uhuru Kenyatta to help prevent them from being forcibly evicted by the corporation.

Machakos Senator Boniface Mutinda Kabaka who paid the affected residents a visit in efforts to end the row castigated government officers for plotting, in collusion with the farm directors to grab the land leaving real owners homeless.

He specifically took issue with a district officer Joshua Onyithi for being part of the cartel that has been wreaking havoc in the area.

The Senator also warned chiefs and their assistant to keep off the farm and ensure that locals are fully settled on the contentious land.

He further urged the Interior Cabinet Secretay Dr. Fred Matiang'i to do a complete overhaul of government officers in the area citing them as the stabling block to the dispute.
