In an interview on Radio Citizen Wednesday, the Senator noted that the leaders' silence on the bloc's way forward, following its inability to capture power in the concluded electoral season, is the cause for the confusion currently being witnessed.

Coming amid a possible fallout, with a section of NASA co-principals; Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi announcing plans to form a separate union, Mutula said that this can be avoided should the NASA summit agree to engage and iron out its differences.

''They are yet to come up with a common alternative route following the alliance's inability to win the concluded presidential contest and every leader is, therefore, trying to craft his own next move. They have to combine their ideas and compose a common suggestion that will restrengthen the team,'' he said.

''Kenyans are also eager to know about their next move because it is clear that though they failed to deliver them to the promised Canaan, other opportunities await them in the future,'' he added.

NASA has recently been battling a possible collapse following Wetangula, Mudavadi and Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) party boss Kalonzo Musyoka's absence during the alliance chief Raila Odinga's January 30 mock presidential inauguration and Wetangula's recent Senate Minority leader Ouster.
