Wangari who was speaking during Citizen TV's Power Breakfast Show on Friday said they will try and counter the super alliance, saying it will eventually rest on the electorate to decide who leads the country after the 2017 polls.

"Guys are not sleeping in Jubilee. We anticipate that the super alliance is going to be big, but ultimately, it will be left to the people to decide," she said.

Wangari insisted that everyone from both the political divide wants a free and fair election, and urged the opposition to let the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to work without any external pressures.

"It is in the interest both the opposition and Jubilee that the next year's general election is free and credible, because even us in Jubilee we do not want to win in a disputed election," she said.

"But we must separate issues, there is a difference between the secretariat and the commissioners, personally where I disagree with Cord's demand that we need to have new commissioners in office for any procurement to take place," she added.
