Kisii County Senator Chris Obure has called upon all the Kisii county residents to ensure that they vote for leaders who can bring change despite the tribe nor party they are associated to.
Speaking in Ogembo during a fundraiser on Friday Obure said that most of the residents were not looking into the track record of each leader but instead they vote for parties a thing that made the development agenda fail to be achieved.
“The county and the country need to move forward in terms of development and the only way we can achieve that is by ensuring that we vote for leaders who are focused towards improving our lives,” he added.
The senator who is also eying the gubernatorial seat from the Jubilee party called upon the residents to ensure that they re-elect president Uhuru Kenyata for the second term in order for them to realise development in the area.
