Narok Senator Stephen Ole Ntutu stormed Narok Police Station on Thursday, September 29th evening to protest an allegation where his son was was accused of shooting a bouncer on Wednesday night.
A report filed in the Occurence Book at the station indicated that the accused was having a drink at Impact Club when he got into an argument with the barmaid.
A confrontation ensued and as the management tried to throw him out, he shot at the bouncer thrice before fleeing the scene using a Boda boda.
However, the senator denies the allegations saying that it's a mistaken identity as the person who was involved is called Alex Ntutu just like his son.
He said his son was not a licensed gun holder and that he was in Nairobi when the incident took place, then asked the police to conduct investigations and know the truth.
“It is only after we arrest the man that we will ascertain who he is, but preliminary reports indicated that the person who we are tracking down is Mr Alex Ntutu. We are yet to establish if the assailant is a Senator’s son or not,” maintained Narok County Police Commissioner Paul Kiogora.
The victim is currently undergoing treatment at Narok Referral Hospital.
