Presidential aspirant and Nyamira Senator Kennedy Okong’o Mong’are has accused President Uhuru of failing to address the ongoing doctors strike.
Mong'are at the same time asked the national government to make public the number of the people who have died as a result of the industrial action.
According to Monga're, the government has failed on the doctors’ Collective Bargaining Agreement, prompting loss of lives in various public hospitals in the country.
The Senator claimed Uhuru has failed terribly and hence his plan to seek the presidency in this year's elections in a bid to oust him.
“We need to know how many people have died due to the ongoing doctors’ strike. Uhuru has failed and we have to prepare to send him home in the next elections,” said Mong'are.
Addressing county residents at Sironga in Nyamira on Sunday, he urged residents to vote for leaders who will develop the nation and take care of residents and shun leaders who want to see Kenyans suffering.
“Vote for me in the next general election as the president to see changes we need. We need to work together to send Jubilee home since it has failed Kenyans,” he added.
