Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi now claims that corruption should now be blamed on the previous regimes. Speaking on Citizen TV'son the Power Breakfast show , the Senator said the Jubilee administration should not be blamed for the corruption, and that the fight against vice should be an individual responsibility. "Nobody is here to defend corruption. If anyone is found to be corrupt or involved in any corrupt dealings, that person is individually held responsible," the Senator said. "Corruption is a deep-rooted disease and is not just one or four years old, It is a disease that has been with the country for many decades," he added.Wamatangi has also warned of politicising of the fight against corruption. "The one thing that we do wrong to this country is trying to politicise the fight against corruption," he said.
