Speaking to journalists at Ruiru town, County senator Kimani Wamatangi said that health workers’ grievances must be addressed.

He further said that the stand-off between health workers and the government would only continue to affect residents.

“The county government must negotiate and work together with health workers, we will see what the best solution to the problem is,” he said.

The senator said that health maters should not be taken lightly and the county must engage all its workers.

Wamatangi further urged the county leaders to implement policies that will improve provision of services.

The senator said that the essence of devolving some government functions was to bring services closer to the people, adding that residents have the right to services and that they should not be denied.

The senator on the same breath called on leaders across Kiambu to work together, saying unity among leaders in the county will improve development, hence access to quality services.
