Haji says that politicians should seize engaging in premature campaigns and focus on serving Kenyans.

Speaking   to journalists in Garissa Town on Monday, Haji said that 2022 debate is not adding value to the lives of Kenyans.

“The 2017 political cycle ended and elected leaders must get down and work for their electorates,” he said.

The Jubilee senator said that continued politicking is bad for the country’s economy and development.

“As leaders,  we cannot spend all the years debating at the expense  of providing services to Kenyans who elected us to office,” he added.

Haji asked Kenyans to demand for services for their respective leaders.

The senator said that the constitution gives Kenyans the power to recall their leaders who fail to perform.

Haji also asked Kenyans to work with the national government as it seeks to unite and reconcile Kenyans.

Politicians across the political divide are strategizing themselves ahead of the 2022 general election.
