Uasin Gishu County senator and a group of youth say they may be forced to ‘politically discipline’ Jubilee leaders from North Rift opposed to DP William Ruto.
The DP’s supporters say that it is not fair for the leaders to continuously oppose and criticise the deputy president yet they belonged to the Jubilee Coalition.
Speaking in Eldoret on Wednesday, Isaac Melly and the youths observed that the leaders who were now verbal critics of the DP ascended to leadership courtesy of his support.
Melly and the youths who did not expound on the kind on the kind of political discipline they would take against the critics called on the political leaders on the region to give Ruto ample time to deliver on his leadership development pledges to the voters nationwide.
The youths claimed that most of the critics would not be where they are without the DP's support.
The senator further reminded the leaders to stop from politicising and instead concentrate on serving their electorate adding that too much politicking would destabilise development in the region.
He said that those wishing to challenge, political supremacy should wait until 2017 when they can test their political popularity.
Of late, the DP has been facing stiff resistance from his counterpart from Bomet County Governor Isaac Ruto and Kanu chairman Gideon Moi.
