[Photo|KTNNews]Senior KTN political affairs reporter Duncan Khaemba has been arrested by the police.Khaemba who was covering violent protests along Karanja Road in Kibera Nairobi, has been arrested and taken to Kilimani Police Station.KTN News' Michelle Ngele reported that Khaemba could have been arrested due to the protective gear that he was putting on, when doing the live reporting."Fellow journalist say police are taking issue with his security protective attire. We will keep you updated on this," said Ngele, Saturday at around 11 am.During the reporting, Khaemba indicated police did not want members of the press to go beyond a certain area, where on the other end, gunshots and teargas canisters could be heard.Khaemba is in police custody, and awaits charging.There have been cases of violence and protests in Kibera since Friday night, after Uhuru Kenyatta was declared president elect.They were angered after Opposition leader Raila Odinga was not declared winner of the disputed election.The youthful protesters could be heard saying "No Raila no peace!".
