[Photo|Nelson Havi]A High Court Advocate now says the election of President Uhuru Kenyatta will be nullified. After hearing submissions from all the parties, including the interested parties and amicus curiae, Supreme Court judges, led by Chief Justice David Maraga and his Deputy Philemona Mwilu, retreated on Tuesday, to prepare a ruling. The verdict contesting Uhuru's win in the August 8 polls, will be issued anytime on Friday, September 1.The National Super Alliance (Nasa) filed the petition, after its presidential candidate Raila Odinga, claimed the electoral body, IEBC with influence of Kenyatta, rigged him out. However even though the judges made no judgement during the hearings, lawyer Nelson Havi of HAVI and Company Advocates, on Tuesday said, the presidential election was computerised and that Uhuru would lose his seat as president-elect."Fellow Kenyans, the presidential election was a computerized coup on the peoples' will. The election of Uhuru Kenyatta will be invalidated," Havi said, Tuesday, at 9:41pm.

On his part, Kibra MP-elect Ken Okoth (in glasses) said the legal team for the petitioners Raila and his Deputy Kalonzo Musyoka had done a splendid job on constitutional, legal, philosophical, and practical concerns about the conduct of the elections by the respondents, IEBC and its chairman Wafula Chebukati. "The declaration of Uhuru Kenyatta as winner of a flawed process is null and void. A new presidential election in 60 days will be the best outcome for this case and will mark a historic end of impunity and the subversion of the sovereign will of the people of Kenya. Long live electoral justice," he said.
