Two Nyamira County senior officials, County Secretary Erick Onchana and Health Chief Officer Douglas Bosire who are alleged to have fought in public at Governor John Nyagarama's residence on Tuesday evening have come out to dismiss the claims. Speaking to the press on Friday, Onchana and Bosire said they never fought, accusing their opponents of peddling falsehoods. The County Secretary said he only learnt of the information with shock on social platforms something he added, had brought tension to their families. "Our families have been affected on this matter and we condemn the reports in the strongest terms possible. We have a good working relationship and we can't solve our differences through fistfights, " said Onchana. Bosire on his part stated that the reports doing rounds on social media platforms are malicious and intended to tarnish their reputations, noting they are officers with integrity."A side from working closely, we are friends too. We have no differences. It's only negative publicity from our opponents," said Bosire.
