Director of Innovation, Digital and Diaspora Communication in the Office of the President,Dennis Itumbi has revealed details surrounding the second coming of lawyer Miguna Miguna from Dubai on Monday.
Speaking on Saturday, Itumbi stated that upon Miguna Miguna's arrival last week, the lawyer abused an immigration officer, a police office rand a customs officer t the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Itumbi noted that he boarded the same plane with Miguna from Dubai.
"I would like to give an eyewitness account because I traveled with Miguna Miguna on thesame flight from Dubai to Nairobi. He sat three seats behind me and we boarded the samebus when our flight landed in JKIA."
The atmosphere was calm and when Miguna Miguna tried to make some side shows everybody ignored him. Anybody who travelled on that flight will bear witness to this fact.
MM(Miguna) came and overtook everybody in the went straight to the immigration officerat the Diplomatic desk waving his ID."... he shouted at the officer and demanded to be let through he was calling him names which I dare not repeat in this forum," stated Itumbi.
Itumbi further added that Miguna failed to follow due process at the airport.
"My reflections on the whole matter is that if MM had already gone past the immigration desk and collected his bags and no one had stopped or followed him this far. Legally he was in Kenya past the border post point of entry. Why is everybody including the media indicting that He was denied access?" asked Itumbi.
Itumbi advised the court to request CCTV footage from the airport to back up his claims.
