The national government has been called upon to expand Huduma Center services to sub-county levels.
According to some of the residents interviewed at Kisii county Huduma Center on Wednesday, they said traveling from the sub-counties to Kisii town is hectic and there was a need to bring the services closer.
Bernard Momanyi who comes from Ogembo lauded the government efforts of setting the centers at the county level though he said it would be good if they make arrangements for some centers at sub-county levels.
“We want to find the services closer to our residence and I will prefer it to be done at the sub-county levels to brings all essential government services under one roof and easy access,” he added.
Another resident of Suneka Jackline Begi said that the long ques at the current one in Kisii would end if they establish more in the sub-county levels.
“The Huduma programme by the National Government is the service that helps us a lot but it would be better if they also served us at the sub-county level,” he added.
