Naivasha sub-county commissioner Isaac Masinde has said the Standard Gauge Railway is safe despite the Monday accident that killed two workers.
Speaking on Tuesday, Masinde said investigations are ongoing into the the Monday incident.
“Four of those injured during the accident have been transferred to Kikuyu Mission hospital for specialised treatment and they are in good condition,” he said.
"The project will be tasked with ferrying passengers and cargo and the government cannot take chances when it comes to issues of safety," Masinde added.
