Deputy president William Ruto said Jubilee government is poised to ensure that by the end of this year, every house has electricity."When we took over in 2013 only 2 million homes had access to electricity. As per now over 6 million households are connected with electricity," he said in Eldoret town, Saturday."Access to electricity has now moved to 90 percent from 27 per cent back in 2013. Power connection cost had gone down from the previous Sh35,000 to Sh 15,000," he added. He reiterated that Jubilee administration had connected 20,500 schools with electricity in the last four years."We are only remaining with 100 schools yet to be connected.Before August every school will have power," noted Ruto, in Eldoret, Saturday.
