The Sh10,000 per plate dinner held at Gulab Lochab was attended by the town’s prominent businessmen including retired top athletes.

Speaking during the dinner, Tuesday night, Mandago said his development record was very impressive and he deserves another term.

As a pioneering governor, he said he had initiated several projects and it would be good if he completes his two terms before handing over.

“I am proud of what I have done which have changed livelihoods. That is the service delivery I have been advocating for since when I was elected four years ago and I want to urge you to support me for another term,” he said.

“The town has had a facelift through many projects including street lighting and creation of conducive business environment proving the strides we have made in my tenure,” he added.

The incumbent are bracing up for the Jubilee Party ticket with the businessman Ezekiah Bundotich Buzeki and Dr Edward Serem.

The duo Mandago and Buzeki appears to be the front runners in the forthcoming primaries.
